Using Manual Infrastructure Documents when your Infrastructure isn't Connected

How to activate manual infrastructure documents and upload evidence when you can't connect your infrastructure to ComplyJet.

Written by Upendra Varma

If you have an infrastructure environment that you can’t connect to ComplyJet — for example, cloud accounts, servers, or databases — your automated infrastructure checks can’t run. Instead, you add your resources manually, activate a few documents, and upload evidence for them.

Step 1: Activate the infrastructure documents

  1. Go to Tests in the left sidebar and open the Excluded tab.

  2. Search for infrastructure.

  3. Select the documents below and click Activate.

  • Infrastructure identity and access settings

  • Infrastructure encryption

  • Infrastructure backups

  • Infrastructure audit logging

  • Infrastructure intrusion detection

  • Infrastructure firewalls

Note: This article shows the documents across all frameworks, so you might not see all of them. Activate the ones that show up for you.

Step 2: Add your infrastructure resources

Go to Security → Infra → More and choose Create Resource or Import via CSV.

From your cloud provider or admin console, export the names and types of your infrastructure resources (servers, databases, storage, and so on). If you add a resource manually, you’ll need a name, a category, and an owner.

Step 3: Upload evidence for each document

The documents you activated are the ones you upload evidence to. Open each document — its description and Instructions tab explain exactly what the file needs to contain, and you can download a template there.

If you need any assistance activating these documents, reach out to our support team.
