Every policy has an Applicability setting that decides who's actually on the hook to accept it, and who ComplyJet's acceptance monitor checks against. You'll find it on a policy's Details tab: Manage → Organisation → Policies → open any policy → Applicability.
Click Edit on the Applicability card to open the Edit Applicability panel, where you pick one of three options under Applicable Personnel:
All current employees
The default. Every current employee is expected to accept this policy.
Specific groups
Selecting Specific groups reveals a group picker, drawing on the same groups you set up under People → Manage Groups. Add one or more groups and ComplyJet takes the union of their members — a current employee in any of the selected groups is required to accept:
Two limitations worth knowing: only current employees in the selected groups pick up the obligation — contractors and non-person accounts in the same group are not included, even if you added them to the group itself.
Policy doesn't require acceptance
Nobody is asked to accept this policy. You still approve and publish it as normal — ComplyJet just tracks it without an acceptance checklist attached.
After saving
Click Save. The panel itself warns that updating this setting may change your compliance status — the Applicability card on the Details tab updates to reflect the new Applies To value:
