Manage → Organisation → People is your full roster — every current employee, contractor, and former employee, synced from your connected HR/identity providers plus anyone added manually.
All / Compliant / Non-Compliant / Others tabs filter the list. Each row rolls up that person's Policies, Training, Devices, and Access status at a glance.
Inviting people to ComplyJet
A person can exist on your roster without ever logging into ComplyJet — that's what the Needs Invite tag means. The banner at the top flags this directly and links to Setup → Settings → Users for bulk-inviting everyone at once, or you can invite one person at a time from inside their own record.
Opening a person's record
Click any row to see their full detail:
Basic Details — name, provider, employment status, start date.
Employee Tasks — their individual Policies, Training, and Devices checklist — the same categories rolled up in the list view, broken out item by item.
Access — which systems this person has an account on.
Onboarding — anything still outstanding before they're considered fully onboarded, including background checks.
Background checks
Under the Onboarding tab, Background Check shows whether one's required and its status:
Upload File is the manual path — attach proof directly (a report from your background-check vendor, for instance) once it's done. Change Requirement lets you mark a background check as not required for this specific person, with an optional reason — useful for roles or situations where your normal policy doesn't apply.
If you've connected a background-check provider under Setup → Settings → Tool Preferences, that can also update this status automatically instead of requiring a manual upload for every person.
Offboarding requirements
For a Former Employee or Former Contractor, the Offboarding tab (next to Access) tracks whether a formal offboarding process was required and completed for that person — mirroring the same Required / Not Required pattern as background checks:
Required — expects an offboarding process (access revocation, equipment return, exit checklist, etc.) to be documented for this person.
Not Required — for cases where a full offboarding process doesn't apply, with a mandatory Reason explaining why (e.g. the person left before ComplyJet was set up, or never had meaningful system access to revoke).
Click Change Requirement to update either the status or the reason. Like background checks, this is about being able to justify the exception to an auditor, not just leaving it blank — always fill in a real reason rather than a placeholder.
Employment status
Every person is one of five statuses, which changes what compliance checks apply to them:
Current Employee / Former Employee
Current Contractor / Former Contractor — contractors are generally held to a narrower set of checks than full employees.
Non-Person — for service accounts or shared logins that show up in your identity provider but aren't an actual person, so they're excluded from people-specific compliance checks like training and background checks.
