Prove → Trust → Questionnaires turns a customer's security questionnaire (usually a spreadsheet) into a set of AI-drafted answers you review and approve, instead of answering everything from scratch.
If you don't see this yet
Questionnaire automation isn't turned on for every account by default — if the Questionnaires section isn't available to you yet, reach out via Contact Support to have it enabled. Once it's on, everything below is self-serve.
Uploading a questionnaire
Upload the file, then map its columns — which one is the question, which is the answer summary (Yes/No/N/A), and optionally which is a longer explanation. This mapping step is mandatory: a questionnaire isn't usable until every included sheet is mapped, so if "Generate Answers" seems unavailable, check this first.
Reviewing answers
Once uploaded, each question moves through Needs Answer → Needs Review → Approved (or Flagged, if something needs a closer look):
Click Generate Answers to have AI draft responses in bulk. Each drafted answer shows how confident the AI is and that it was AI-generated:
Highly confident answers are usually safe to approve as-is after a quick read.
Lower-confidence answers are worth double-checking against the source material before approving.
Editing an AI-drafted answer yourself automatically flips it back to Needs Review — approval always reflects a human having looked at the current text, even after an edit.
Where the AI actually gets its answers from
AI drafting only works once you've given it source material to work from — see Building Your Answer Library and Resource Library. A brand-new account with nothing indexed yet will find Generate Answers doesn't produce anything useful until that's set up.
Finishing up
Mark as Complete only becomes available once every item is Approved — any Flagged or Needs-Review item blocks it. Export only includes Approved answers, so anything still pending review is silently left out of the export.
