Understanding Your Dashboard (Admin View)

What the Frameworks and Health sections on your Dashboard show, and what the percentages actually mean.

Written by Upendra Varma

Your Dashboard is the first thing you see when you log in, and it's built to answer one question at a glance: how close are we to being ready? As an admin, you'll see two sections — Frameworks and Health.

Frameworks

Each card represents a compliance framework your organization has enabled — SOC 2, a custom framework, or others depending on your plan.

  • Overall progress is the percentage of that framework's tasks that are complete.

  • View Tasks takes you straight to the guided checklist for that framework (see Why can't I check off a task? for how tasks actually complete).

If you don't see any framework cards here, you haven't enabled a framework yet — you'll be redirected to the Get Started flow instead.

Health

Health rolls your compliance posture up into three areas, each matching one of the groups in the left-hand nav under Manage:

  • Security — infrastructure, code, and vulnerabilities.

  • Organisation — people, policies, training, devices, and access.

  • Risk — your risk register and vendor management.

Each ring is the percentage of that group's automated and manual tests currently passing — not the same thing as a framework's task progress. View Tests on any card takes you to that area's test list, filtered to just what's failing.

Why these percentages don't always match

You'll notice the Dashboard, a framework's own readiness bar, and the Tasks page can all show slightly different numbers even though they're describing the same underlying work. That's expected — they're measuring different things (tests passing vs. tasks completed vs. controls satisfied), not the same metric rounded differently. If a number here doesn't match what you expected, check whether you're comparing a task percentage to a test percentage before assuming something's wrong.
