If you're looking for a checkbox to mark a task "done," you won't find one — and that's by design.
Tasks complete automatically
Every task on your Tasks page is backed by one or more linked tests — the same automated and manual tests that show up under Manage → Security/Organisation/Risk and on the Tests page. Open any task and switch to its Linked Tests tab to see exactly what it's waiting on:
This task will complete when all the linked tests below pass.
That banner means what it says: as soon as every test in the list turns green, the task marks itself complete automatically. There's nothing to click.
So how do I actually finish a task?
Fix whatever the failing linked test is describing — connect an integration, upload a document, enable a setting, remediate a flagged resource — and the task will catch up on its own. The Failing tab on a task's Linked Tests panel is the fastest way to see exactly what's still outstanding.
Getting the latest status
Automated tests already run on their own schedule, but if you've just fixed something and don't want to wait:
Sync Now on an individual task re-runs just that task's linked tests. This can take 2–3 minutes to reflect — re-clicking won't speed it up.
Sync All (top of the Tasks page) re-runs every linked test for the whole framework, which takes longer.
Switching frameworks
The framework selector at the top right of the Tasks page re-scopes the entire task list — switching frameworks triggers a fresh sync, so give it a moment before the new list settles.
