In some cases, ComplyJet cannot automatically detect device compliance settings (for example, if you’re using Windows Home edition or a device management tool that does not expose APIs for certain features). In such cases, you’ll need to upload manual evidence. This ensures your auditors can still verify compliance for requirements like antivirus, encryption, or screen lock.

Steps to Upload Evidence

Follow these steps to upload a compliance document manually:

  1. Navigate to Evidence Section

    • From the ComplyJet dashboard, go to Compliance → Evidence → Document.

  2. Add a New Document

    • Click the Add Document button.

  3. Search for the Required Evidence Template

    • In the search bar, type anti-malware.

    • Select the relevant document from the results.

  4. Attach the Document

    • Once selected, the document will be added to your Evidence list.

  5. Upload Proof

    • Open the document.

    • Upload a screenshot or file that shows you have an antivirus solution enabled on your devices. Examples include:

      • Screenshot of antivirus software dashboard (e.g., Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Sophos, etc.)

      • System report showing antivirus protection status.

Best Practices

  • Ensure the evidence is recent (captured within the past 30 days).

  • Always redact or blur any sensitive personal information before uploading.
