Step 1: Provide Your Hexnode API Subdomain
ComplyJet needs your Hexnode subdomain to connect to your MDM environment.
Log in to your Hexnode MDM dashboard.
Look at the URL in your browser. It will be in the format:
arduino CopyEdit <https://yourcompany.hexnodemdm.com>
Copy the subdomain prefix only—everything before
.hexnodemdm.com
.For example, if your URL is
https://acme.hexnodemdm.com
, enter:acme
Paste this subdomain prefix into the Hexnode API Subdomain field in ComplyJet.
Why this is needed: ComplyJet uses this subdomain to form the correct base API endpoint when making requests to your Hexnode account.
Step 2: Generate and Provide API Token
To allow ComplyJet to access Hexnode, you’ll need to generate an API token from your Hexnode settings.
In the Hexnode MDM dashboard, go to:
Settings > API
Check the box labeled Enable API Access.
Once enabled, a token will be generated. Copy the token displayed.
Paste this token into the API Token field in ComplyJet.
Important: Treat this token as a secret. It grants access to your Hexnode data and should be stored securely.
Step 3: Validate and Connect
Once you’ve entered your Hexnode subdomain and API token:
Click the Validate button in ComplyJet.
ComplyJet will attempt to connect to your Hexnode instance using the provided credentials.
If the connection is successful, device and inventory data will begin syncing shortly.
Completion
Once validated, ComplyJet will start pulling device information from Hexnode to power your compliance workflows.
If any errors occur during validation, double-check:
The subdomain prefix matches your dashboard URL.
The API token is correct and active.
API access is enabled in Hexnode settings.
