ComplyJet integrates with GitLab to automatically monitor your repositories, group-level access permissions, and CI/CD configurations — helping you stay compliant with frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

This guide walks you through the process of connecting your GitLab group to ComplyJet.

Step 1: Prerequisites

Before you connect GitLab, ensure you have the right permissions and a clean setup.

  1. Verify Group Ownership
Visit your GitLab Groups Page, open the group you want to connect, and check the Members section.
You must be listed as Owner to authorize the integration.

  2. Clean Up Existing Integrations (Optional)
If you've previously connected this GitLab group to ComplyJet or another tool, consider revoking old tokens from your GitLab Applications for a clean setup.

Step 2: Connect GitLab

Now you’ll authorize ComplyJet to access your GitLab group.

  1. Click the Connect GitLab button below
This will redirect you to GitLab’s OAuth flow

  2. Sign in (if needed), then select the GitLab Group you want to connect
ComplyJet will automatically scan the group and any subgroups for repositories and related metadata

You’re Done!

After completing the integration:

✅ Your GitLab repositories and permissions will appear in the ComplyJet dashboard
✅ Compliance checks for merge approvals, branch protection, and CI/CD security will begin automatically
