Setup → Settings → Details holds your company profile (name, domain, size, HQ) and seven role-owner assignments. These aren't just labels — several of them are load-bearing for other parts of the product.
What each role actually does
Executive Admin — the accountable owner for the overall compliance program.
HR Admin — owner of people-related compliance: onboarding, offboarding, background checks.
Security Admin — owner of security controls and incident response.
Engineering Admin — owner of code and infrastructure compliance.
IT Admin — owner of device and access management.
HIPAA Risk Officer — only relevant if HIPAA is enabled; this is a compliance-mandated role, not just a UI label, and surfaces in HIPAA-specific policy and risk documentation.
GDPR Lead Supervisory Authority Owner — only relevant if GDPR is enabled; the internal contact for liaising with your regulator. This does not determine which supervisory authority is actually yours — that's a separate legal determination you still need to make.
Why this matters beyond this page
These assignments feed default ownership across the product — for example, several automated tests and policy approval flows reference these roles rather than requiring you to pick an owner every time. Getting them right once here saves re-assigning ownership manually all over the app later.
Everyone defaults to the same person at first
In a small team, it's normal (and fine) for every role to point at the same admin initially — ComplyJet doesn't require distinct people per role. Revisit this as your team grows and responsibilities actually split across people.
