ComplyJet connects to the MongoDB Atlas Administration API using an organization API key with read-only access, to monitor your database infrastructure for compliance with frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
This guide walks you through creating that API key and connecting it to ComplyJet.
Step 1: Create a MongoDB Atlas Organization API Key
Log in to MongoDB Atlas at cloud.mongodb.com and switch to the Organization level.
Open Access Manager > Applications (or API Keys) and click Create API Key.
Give it a description (e.g. ComplyJet compliance monitoring) and set the Organization Permission to Organization Read Only, then click Next.
Copy the Public Key and paste it into ComplyJet.
Copy the Private Key (shown only once) and paste it into ComplyJet.
If your organization enforces Require IP Access List for API Keys, add ComplyJet's production egress IP addresses to this key's API Access List so our backend can use it: 44.246.43.222 and 52.39.101.211 (add both). If that setting is off, you can skip this step.
You're Done!
Once connected, ComplyJet begins monitoring your MongoDB Atlas infrastructure automatically — no further setup needed.
